WE ASK YOU TO:

  • Provide you with safe
    and reliable travel
  • Collect and deliver you
    from the agreed points
  • Ensure you are safely
    seated
  • Provide you with safe ramps or
    lifts for wheelchair loading
  • Provide and use safety
    clamps for wheelchairs
  • Provide you with competent,
    helpful drivers
  • Help you with shopping
    bags etc., on journeys
  • Provide you with a prompt
    service unless delayed by
    road or other conditions
  • Encourage your comments
    on the service provided and
    make suggestions for new
    or revised ones

 

  • Be available on time at your
    pick-up and departure time
  • Have your membership card
    and ‘bus pass with you
  • Respond to the driver or trip
    leader's requests of you
  • Use seat belts correctly
    at all times
  • Take care when getting on and off
    and remain seated whilst travelling
  • Have a nominated carer with you when
    using a wheelchair, this is essential
  • Safety restraints for wheel- chairs
    must be used – this is a legal
    requirement
  • Stow bags or shopping as requested by
    the driver or with their help
  • Note that the driver is authorized to decline
    your entry if he/she considers you unfit
    to travel
