The aim of TISBUS is: “to provide affordable door-to-door, wheelchair accessible, transport for everyone in the Tisbury and Nadder Valley region, both on specific designated services and on private journeys”. |
TISBUS is run by a group of Trustees who are officers of the company and who volunteer their services free of charge. In addition TISBUS is supported by both volunteer and paid drivers and a coordinator who books all services by telephone.
In total the annual volunteer involvement with Tisbus is estimated at some 350 working days or approximately 80%.
This contribution is crucial to the successful delivery of services and the sustainability of the business.
TISBUS is available to any resident, group or organisation. We provide transport for regular scheduled services, weddings, racing days, social group travel, private parties and functions.
TISBUS telephone is available between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (an answering service is available for out of hours queries) where you may speak with our coordinator, book your travel and obtain a quotation for private hires.
